Housing Programs
Elim provides affordable housing options and support services to individuals and families who are currently homeless, residing in substandard housing, or living in abusive conditions.
Housing is provided primarily in North and Northeast Minneapolis, and suburban Hennepin, Anoka, and Ramsey counties for up to two years.
All residents live independently and pursue self-chosen goal related to stability and self-reliance.
Housing programs include:
- Prevention
- Screening
- Rapid Exit
- Transitional Housing
- Permanent Housing and Permanent Supportive Housing
- Tenant Based Rental Assistance
Support Services
Case management services are provided to all program residents.
Other support services offered, as funding permits, are:
- Assistance with back due rent/mortgage payments
- Rental/damage deposit assistance
- Rental application fee assistance
- Fees for identification cards/drivers licenses
- Moving assistance
- Furniture/household goods
